the lakes mall is another great muskegon area resource. it has kept muskegon on the move, provided jobs and revenue.
pat is on the money with the downtown developement. there needs to be stable environment drawing peoeple in day after day. many huge steps have and are taking place to do this!
the target for downtown is much more like a big city then a smaller one. over the years people have moved there famlies out of the inner city.
to all those working on making muskegon a better place to live i thank you.

I thought her suggestion not to put a traditional mall downtown was great advice... In all seriousness, someone needed to point out that unique shops/restaurants/pubs/etc. are what will drive a new downtown. I also found it interesting that rather than take full credit for developing Harvey/Sternberg, she pointed out that Horizon group was the pioneer out there.

Jason once more you show that Muskegon is a rapidly rising star in the state of Michigan. It is certainly evident why Pat Strum has that job, what a sharp business person! Thank you both, great podcast.
